One of my favorite entrepreneurship authors, Barry Moltz, is again helping to sponsor the Pursue Your Passion Tour. Half of all Americans are not satisfied with their jobs. This project is an attempt to help students avoid this same lot in life.
This summer, recent college graduates James Whiting, Noah Pollock and Brett Farmiloe will be traveling 14,000 miles in 90 days on their tour to interview 200 professionals who have a passion for their work.
Here is a schedule of their tour this summer.
So they will be in Nashville 9/30-10/1. I think it would be great to try to get them to speak on campus possibly for a convo event. I wouldn’t mind contacting them if this is something you would be interested in sponsoring. My dad has always told me to follow my passion and these guys are finding the people out there who are doing just that.
WOW! Thanks so much for sharing! I nominate you for them to interview. It is obvious to all of your students that you love teaching and helping all of us find our passions as well.
I wish I had thought of this tour. I would love to travel and ask people about their passions!
Sarah- We would love to talk with you guys on campus. Send me an email at brett@pursuethepassion.com if you are serious about having us come share our insight gleaned throughout the tour.
Erin- You should sign up to be a part of our “Passionger Program,” where we pick up students that would like to ask people about their passions. Contact me at the email above if you are interested.
Pursue the Passion!
Hello…from the publishing archives I have just read “Teamworks” by Barbara Sher and Annie Gottlieb ~ simply wonderful and their process for pursuing one’s dreams still holds true today! Success Teams are a strong avenue for making those passions a reality! Within the last week and a half ‘my solo’ networking has launched me into the next stage of my goal plans.
My passions have always been with me, and now I am beginning to see real progress to actually being able to live them out as a career. It’s a good feeling!
Here’s to those dreams and passions in all of us!
~you’ll see me at the bookstore, too…in illustrations or in print…or BOTH : )
