This advice reflects a common theme I have learned throughout reading your blog, and that is that you must assess your needs and the needs of the company in order to decide just what works best for the two entities. It seems like common knowledge: if you are struggling with cash flow, hire someone to help you manage it, if you are struggling with marketing, hire a marketing guy, etc. etc. I can imagine, though, that many entrepreneurs are simply eager to grow their business rather than sit and examine each corner of their business and assess any needs for improvement. From your advice, it seems that being analytical and careful often times pays off!
